Supportive Services

This program provides mid-day congregate and home-delivered meals from Monday through Friday to Penobscot age 55 or older. The program also provides many supportive services that meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the elders. These include telephone contact, transportation, home visits, assistance with grocery shopping, monthly shopping trips to the Bangor Mall as well as holiday parties, foliage trips and out-of-state Bingo trips. 

The High Stakes Bingo provides financial support which is used to sponsor activities and to acquire a van for transportation of elders.
