Message from the Chief

Dear tribal citizen,

I hope this message finds you and your families well.  As you are aware we are holding our annual community days weekend starting today.   I wanted to mention that it is expected to be very warm, and we have made plans for cooling stations this weekend.  On Saturday from 9am until 1pm we will have a cooling station next to the health fair in the clinics waiting room for anyone who needs to get out of the heat.   For the rest of the weekend Sockalexis arena will be opened for the same purpose.  

We are excited about the weekend and being back to our normal 3 days of events including the return of the pageant on Sunday from noon to 4pm. 

I hope to see you all there and that you have a great weekend with family and friends to celebrate our community. Have fun and be safe.
