Department of Natural Resources

The Administration division of the Penobscot Nation Department of Natural Resources(DNR) provides the overall direction and oversight of all of the various programs, projects, and activities of the DNR.

DNR administration also provides all of natural resources licensing and permitting for the harvesting of fish and wildlife.

Staff within DNR Administration include the DNR director and the  DNR office manager/executive secretary.

DNR maintains and open door policy and we encourage Penobscot tribal citizens to stop in anytime during business hours.

Business hours are generally 8-4:30 Monday through Friday.

DNR Licenses and permits will continue to be issued by request.

Requests should be made by phone to Faye Lawson 207.817.7331. Requests can also be emailed to [email protected]. Permits and licenses will be mailed out.
