Maintenance & Public Works
Maintenance is responsible for a wide variety of functions within all Tribal Facilities, which include, but are not limited to: building maintenance and repairs, i.e. cleaning, assemble office furniture, setup for tribal functions, some plumbing and electrical, lawn maintenance, snow and ice removal on sidewalks and parking lots.
Public Works is responsible for a wide variety of functions within the island and trust lands, which include, but not limited to: street and bridge maintenance and repairs, i.e. sweeping, pavement repairs. And pothole patching; sidewalk maintenance and repairs; storm drain maintenance and repair; snow removal on roads and sidewalks; sign maintenance, including repairs and replacements; maintain all parks and cemeteries; will maintain the new boat dock; pavement markings at crosswalks on the island. We also handle all construction road and bridge projects and administer paving projects.
