Child Support Agency

I hope that you and your family are staying safe. I am writing to inform you that PNCSA is now shut down due to COVID-19, Coronavirus. Effective as of March 16, 2020 nobody is to drop payments off to the office or pick processed payments up from the office. PNCSA will not be accepting any new cases at this time and there will be no court hearings held during the 2-week mandatory shut down. People who owe child support still need to pay and to make up for mailing time please send your payments in earlier so we can get it out in a reasonable timeframe.

Please send in a money order or check to PNCSA at P.O. Box 446, Old Town ME 04468.

PNCSA staff will still be coming in to the office so that we can get payments processed and out to families. PNCSA will be strictly mailing the payments out.

PNCSA will be closed for the next 2 weeks and after that, we will send out additional guidance on what happens moving forward. We are asking that you please be patient and understanding as we are trying to protect our community.

It is the goal of the Penobscot Nation to improve the lives of children, assist parents in their decision-making efforts, enhance family values to the benefit of family members and their tribal community, and strengthen tribal sovereignty through greater use of tribal institutions.
