Please be diligent and take precautions if necessary due to the ongoing fire at Eagle Point Energy Center.  This is especially important for those with health issues.  EPA has staff on site and are in communications with the Nation regarding on going Air Quality monitoring around the perimeter of the facility.  While the EPA findings as of noon yesterday have found no significant detection of hazardous gases, there are reports of a noticeable smell of smoke coming up the river’s corridor.  We will continue to assess the situation and provide more information today when we get some more questions answered by the EPA.
