Artistic Landscape Map of Penobscot Tribal Farm- Call for Proposals
Penobscot Tribal Farm is located on an 11-acre property along the Penobscot River in Bradley, ME We are seeking someone to help with a small project mapping the farm and all that it contains on to paper. Examples of what we have in mind below:
The farm map will be:
- printed and displayed at the farm.
- made into brochures and distributed to visitors at farm events.
- shared with current and potential funders and others who support our work.
The Tribal Farm currently contains: A high tunnel hoophouse, small green house nursery, defined work space/nursery area, 50’ x 30’ processing/education center, six raised beds, field row crop gardens, compost pad, garage, trails, bee yard and orchard area.
We invite individuals, artists, mapmakers interested in this creative opportunity to write and submit a brief proposal (2-3 paragraphs, or one page) describing how they might go about creating an artistic landscape map of the farm property. Please describe your level of experience with this sort of project; what resources you have available to use (for example, a drone might be helpful); and if you have time enough to complete the project by June 1. Include 1-2 examples of your past work along these lines. Please submit your proposal by April 30, 2026. One person will be selected to complete this project.
