Covid-19 Information
Covid Testing Update
Due to recent regulatory changes at a Federal level, COVID tests must now be used strictly according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
The testing platforms at the Penobscot Nation Health Dept. will not allow for surveillance or screening tests under the new regulations.
Starting Monday, we can only perform COVID tests for:
1. symptomatic patients
2. patients with confirmed contact.
Patients reporting for COVID testing under any other circumstances cannot be tested.
We can no longer provide screening tests for travel, return to work, etc.
Please feel free to contact the main line @ (207) 817-7400 with any questions, comments, or concerns.
