For residents of Indian Island:

During the fall season, the Penobscot Nation Health Dept. will be distributing: 1 Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Detector Combo and 3 Regular Smoke Detectors for free to any household on Indian Island. These detectors come with 10-year lifespan batteries that do not require changing. We are encouraging residents to bring the attached, completed application to the Health Dept. to receive your devices. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors can be critical in preventing casualties due to faulty heating sources in the Winter.

Please contact our Environmental Health Specialist: Carissa Caruso-DiPaolo at (207) 817-7484 with any questions.

Stay safe everyone!
