FREE RADON TESTING FOR PENOBSC0T HOMEOWNERS
Radon Gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer and the leading cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers in the U.S. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can be present in some homes at concentrations that are dangerous to you, your family, and pets.
The test is a small canister that has charcoal in it to collect the radon in the air. The canister will remain in the home for two-three days.
HOME MUST BE IN SERVICE AREA
INCOME MUST BE BELOW 150% MEDIAN INCOME BASED ON HUD GUIDLINES.
APPLICATIONS ARE AVAIBLE THROUGH THE TRIBAL WEBSITE OR CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE PENOBSCOT NATION HOUSING DEPARTMENT
