Message from the Chief

I hope you are doing well and that you have had an amazing summer. I want to thank you for continuing to support me as Chief of our great Nation; serving in this capacity has always been my greatest honor. I also want to thank those who chose to run in the last election and congratulate those who were elected. I look forward to working together on behalf of all the citizens of our Nation.

I’m happy to report that Tribal Council has approved a disbursement of funds to each tribal citizen to help offset the rising cost of food, heat and utilities ahead of the winter season.

The finance department is working hard to get checks disbursed as quickly as possible. Please do not call them on timing. If there are any major delays, we will let you know but expect these will be ready very soon.

We are fortunate to have gaming revenue and other resources that make it possible to offer this third disbursement. Many thanks to Tribal Council for prioritizing the wellbeing of tribal citizens and making these funds available, I hope it helps ease some of the stress of providing for your families.
